Getting Started

Okay horse community! We have our option on 488 acres - it is up to you. . . The land has 100 acres partially cleared and seeded in soybeans. There are no buildings on the property. We have talked with two Agricultural Extension Agents and had them provide a thorough inspection and appraisal of the property in question. They have both rated it excellent for horses. Through a crop conversion program via the USDA, we have a very cost effective means of converting from soybean to pasture. The planned grass will be planted in Bermuda grass for spring & summer, and over seeded with rye grass for the fall and winter.

Keep a watch on this website (under the news) to keep tabs on our progress as we build our horse retirement and a home we will call the "Hall of Remembrance." There we can hang portraits of our horses with their special stories attached. Does your horse have a special story? Become a development member for $1000 and keep your horses memory alive forever.

::: Goal = 8 Million :::

40,000 members with yearly dues of $50 = 2,000,000
2,000 development members with dues of $1000 = 2,000,000
400 lifetime members with special recognition $5000 = 2,000,000
40 lifetime benefactors and one found horse retired $50,000 = 2,000,000

This is a 3 year fund raising and building plan with operations beginning no later than 2008.
1st year, take possession of land.
2nd year, pasture establishment, fencing, build hall of remembrance, and create a $5 million dollar endowment for horse care in perpetuity.
3rd year, WE OPEN!
